Trans-mission Partnerships
Special Needs:
11/28/10
This is something close to Pete's heart. T-mP would love to "push bounderies" and develop new inovative work. To take small groups of disabled from UK to encourage and give hope to many who struggle in Romania and Ukraine. To set up partnerships with special needs centres here in the UK.... develop internet links and share resources.... Transport is a big issue in these countries and currently T-mP are researching into possibility of transporting special needs accessible mini buses from UK. At the moment, T-mP have two main contacts overseas in this work. Alina from Deva Romania who is disabled yet organises and Manages camps for disabled. Also Anhelina from Berdychiv, Ukraine. She is a Paediatrician Psycholgist and visits housebound children to provide 'one-to-one' support. At the moment, Pete is trying to access funding from an American charity to bring Anhelina across to the UK and visit some "Riding for the Disabled" projects - such a project would be a dream for Anhelina.
