Pete continues to do all his work on a voluntary basis. Obviously, this deeply affects the progress of the work. He pays all his own expenses as well as giving of his time. Vivi in Romania does the same. It's only because of a generous donation from Steve Beatty who own a company called 'Plastic Head' that I surived.... Until funding is secured, Pete will cover expenses for a trip through the group he takes, but will keep the costs of a MAD Week to a minimum. This is important for community groups and Churches. T-mP realise the UK are going through a recession, therefore it's difficult to find necessary funding. However, we are committed to grow and develop, offeing opportunity and challenge to individuals, community groups, Churches and businesses. I'm sure there are many people who took early retirement or forced to leave work through the recession, that have specific skills which would benefit our work.... If you know of someone, please put them in touch with us. A special request goes out for fundraisers, including anyone with experience in acquiring European Funds. Finally, we can offer a fanstastic opportunity to large company or private individual to MAKE A DIFFERENCE....... If that's you.... please "come on board". Because our work touches all ages, abilities and disabilities, there could be some excellent "Marketing" opportunity, especially if the work goes national and international.
