Trans-mission Partnerships

Berdychev

Several visits have been made to Berdychev with most work done through Sergey & Julia Diduk who have been Trans-mission Partnerships' Representatives. Sergey has made visits to the UK where he's qualified with TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language). Berdychev is around 2-3 hours from Kyev.

Recently, Graham Welland a Scientist from Stratford upon Avon visited Berdychev to meet with the Director for Water Supplies in Berdychev to offer advice and support on water quality.


Photo shows a 'Toy Library' in Bullwell, Nottingham. Oksana Tyminska has liased with Bullwell to set up Toy Libraries in a Hospital and through Anhelina, a Paediatrician Psychologist. Anhelina uses the educational toys to teach 'special needs' children in their own homes, and has personally visited UK along with Nadya, a Senior Nurse from the Hospital in Chudnov where the Toy Library is held and where one of our teams painted murals on the walls.


Photo shows Oksana with Olga riding 'piggy back'. Olga is one of Anhelina's students and attends the 'Special needs group'. Trans-mission Partnerships have assisted Olga by financing hospital visits and medication. Olga's sister Lena has visited the UK to assist with her University course on 'Fashion & Design'. As a charity we are considering supporting Lena with a small clothing business.

Homeless

In Berdychev there are a number of homeless who wander the streets. Below are photo's of street children. These photo's were taken by Sue, Judy and Mandy from St John's College, Nottingham who, as part of their training, spent several weeks working alongside a small Church supporting these children.
